Celliant is a different kind of performance technology. The active minerals in Celliant are ground into particles 100 times finer than a human hair. Millions of these minerals are then extruded into a resin that is loaded directly into the core of the fiber which gives Celliant technology a lifetime as long as the material itself. It will never wash out or break down. Powered by the metabolism, it is more hybrid engine than textile. It recycles and converts radiant body heat into something that gives the body a measurable boost – infrared energy.

    Originally developed for NASA, Outlast utilized phase-changing materials (PCM) that absorb, store, and release heat for optimal thermal comfort. The technology is comparable to ice in a drink: as it changes from solid to liquid, it absorbs heat and cools the drink, keeping it at the desired temperature for longer. Outlast PCM  work in the same way but are microencapsulated to be permanently closed and protected in a polymer shell. These microencapsulated materials are called Thermolecules and they are exceptionally durable for many applications including incorporation into fabrics and fibers that will then have the capacity to absorb, store, and release excess heat. This helps continually regulate the skin’s microclimate.
